The SUNRAISE ACT! webinar series received a great opening on September 07, 2021 with the lecture “Sustainable Development Goals and ESG – objectives and instruments for greening economic development of Russia”  by Dr. Evgeny Shvarts, Head of the Centre for Responsible Natural Resource Use of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

SUNRAISE is announcing the ACT! webinar series in Russian on sustainable development goals (SDGs) for the Arctic and mountain regions. The series made for the MOOC of SDGs for Arctic and mountain sustainability will portray a diversity of SDG-related issues and challenges in relation to the Arctic and mountain areas as well as offer analytical overview of relevant cases.

Delegation of Russian State Hydrometeorological University is visiting Siberian Federal University from June 24 to July 08, 2021 to take part in the working seminar on SUNRAISE project.

On April 08, 2021 the project team of SFU, GASU and RSHU took part in the offsite meeting within the framework of SUNRAISE project «Sustainable Use of Natural Resources in the Arctic and High Mountainous Areas».

On-site seminar-presentation of the MOOC “Sustainable Development of Mountain Territories in the Context of the Concept of Ecosystem Services” was held at Gorno-Altaisk State University on September 17, 2020. Though the MOOC in Russian was launched in April 2020 and its English version on June 2020, there was no way to organize such presentation earlier due to COVID-19.
