A conference will explore a diversity of challenges transborder regions are facing under the global environmental and socio-economic change. This includes such issues as natural resource and environmental management and governance, ethnic and cultural dynamics, geopolitical contexts and so on. The conference celebrates the 70th anniversary of Gorno-Altaisk State University and the 55th anniversary of the Branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Altai Republic
