International Summer School "START!" - SusTAinability tRansiTion of borderlands will be held in Pskov from July 24, 2021 to August 06, 2021.
The School will be a vibrant mixture of interactive sessions, lectures and engagement with top experts and practitioners on sustainability of borderlands and transboundary cooperation for environmental protection and regional development.
SFU ecologists jointly with the teams of Gorno-Altaisk State University and Russian State Hydrometeorological University announced intermediate results of the project and presented massive open online courses to the potential providers of the work placements – representatives of national parks and national reserves.
On April 08, 2021 the project team of SFU, GASU and RSHU took part in the offsite meeting within the framework of SUNRAISE project «Sustainable Use of Natural Resources in the Arctic and High Mountainous Areas».
Workshop and Roundtable "Green and Blue Urban Infrastructure Innovation for Northern Eurasia: Transfer, Regionalisation, Planning Strategies and Development Directions" is to be held on April 19-20, 2021 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
