Webinar “Himalaya Diwas 2021” is organized on September 09, 2021 by JNU ENVIS Resource Partner on Geodiversity & Impact on Environment, JNU School on Environmental Sciences as well as Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change of the Government of India.

The government of India has officially declared September 9 as ‘Himalaya Diwas’ – a day which will be celebrated across the State to spread the message of conservation of the Himalayan ecosystems and solutions for sustainable development and ecological stability for the Himalayas that must be as unique as the Himalayan ecosystem itself.
